January 2008 saw the
10th Sail East Prizegiving Party and what a bash it was!
Over 115 people dined for a four-course meal at the Crouch Yacht
Club with more turning up later to party the night away to Zootgoose
(who else?). The Crouch offered a great change of venue, making the
party centrally located for all and a lot cheaper, which the younger
members of the fleet especially appreciated. But there was no
scrimping on the fun; I’m sure everyone would agree that the place
had a great atmosphere and it was nice to see a strong mix of
competitors from across the Sail East locations and classes. I hope
you all had a fantastic night and I look forward to seeing you all
in the Summer.

Just a quick reminder for next years party,
tickets sold fast last year so please remember to get orders in
quickly. As there was so much demand hopefully we can make it
bigger and better next year!
